The Hotel Library houses books, videos, journals, and databases related to the administration of hotels, motels, clubs, restaurants, and other institutions in the hospitality industry. The library is considered one of the finest of its kind and enjoys a worldwide reputation for the quality and comprehensiveness of its holdings. Subject areas on the analysis, financing, investing, controlling, and planning of a hospitality corporations assets; management of restaurants, lodging facilities, clubs, catering and special events, casinos, spas, beverage operations; hospitality facilities and operations; business communications, cookery, franchising, hospitality law, real estate, service marketing, tourism and travel.

Reference services are available to practitioners in the hospitality industry for a fee through Hostline (http://www.hotelschool.cornell.edu/research/library/services/hostline/). Scholars may also use the special collection of current and historical menus.
