Olin, Kroch & Uris Library Orientation Tours
The Olin, Kroch & Uris Library Orientation Tours are designed to introduce new members of the Cornell community to the three libraries along the south side of Cornell’s Arts Quad at the heart of central campus. Together, those three libraries contain 3.5 million volumes—almost half of the Cornell University Library’s physical collections, and some of its most unusual and valuable books and manuscripts. These tours provide an introduction to the collections and guide you through the buildings so that you can make the most of the libraries and their services.
You have several options for taking the audio walking tours:
- Listen to the tours by following the links below to download audio files.
- Check out a pre-loaded MP3 player at the Olin or Uris Circulation Desks.
- Follow the directions given below under Subscription Options to download any or all of the podcasts to your own computer, then transfer the tracks to an MP3 player if you own one.
You may also enjoy listening to the Uris Library Historical Tour to learn more about the history of Cornell’s oldest library.
