Cornell University Library Information Technology (CUL-IT) is responsible for user-facing and internal IT systems in support of the Library’s mission. CUL-IT activities include: support for individual and public computers; IT security; IT project management; core services such as the library catalog; management and integration of external services; design, development and maintenance of websites and software applications; user experience design and accessibility; scholarly communications; and repository systems for access and preservation. CUL-IT staff collaborate closely with other library units, act as a bridge to central IT services, and engage in national and international library IT initiatives.
